Each year students, staff and the school community celebrate and promote our acclaimed, award winning Arts Department, showcasing all of the excellent opportunities offered at ASHS.
During this week at ASHS, we will see our school come alive with the vibrancy and creativity of our esteemed Arts Department.
We invite our school community to join us for the opening night of ARTS@ASHS Exhibition and SHOWTIME, our Drama and Music Performance on Tuesday 8 November.
- ARTS@ASHS Exhibition opening in the school Library 4.30pm to 5.45pm – light refreshments served. Please RSVP to australind.shs@education.wa.edu.au for catering purposes.
- ARTS@ASHS Exhibition awards for judges and teachers choices announced at 5.15pm – students will be advised by their teacher if their artwork is being displayed.
- ARTS@ASHS Exhibition will showcase over 200 artworks from students from Year 7 to Year 12.
- SHOWTIME Drama and Music Performance, featuring our Year 10 Drama and our Specialist Jazz Band, commences promptly in the Performing Arts Centre at 6.30pm, please arrive by 6.15pm.
- SHOWTIME Drama and Music Performance is a free – but ticketed – event. Please visit the Front Office to secure your free tickets to attend.
Students are reminded to check the Schedule of Events posters around the school and join in the festivities.
