Australind Senior High School advice our school community we will be running an Emergency Management Procedures Drill scheduled for this Thursday morning, 25 February 2021.
Students will be explicitly briefed via a set script on what they need to do and then taken through a Lockdown Procedure that, in this instance, will occur during class time.
Under the direction of their teacher, they will also practice a Year Group move to a Safer Location on the school site should we ever need to prepare for an evacuation.
Students will not leave the school site.
Our students have always responded very responsibly to these drills and continue to respect the rights of others.
We are happy to answer any questions that parents and carers may have.
