Managing Anxiety around COVID-19

In the midst of uncertain times its normal for staff, parents and students to feel a heightened level of anxiety.

I’ve attached the Australian Psychological Society’s tips for coping with anxiety around COVID-19.

It includes suggestions for managing discussions with curious students and can also be a useful resource for parents.

A special message from me is to take care of yourself – not just physically, but mentally. Engage in some self-care – whether that be mindfulness, exercise, sleep or reading.

Check-in with yourself about how you’re managing your own wellbeing.
