Local Intake Area

Australind Senior High School is a Department of Education designated Local Intake school. As such, the school only has places for a student whose family is residing within the boundaries of the school. The local intake area as determined by the Department of Education Western Australia.

Due to being a gazetted Local Intake Area School where only guaranteed places are for students who reside within its Local Intake Area, or are accepted into one of our two specialist programs:

• Mathematics and Philosophy (MaP) Specialist Program
• Jazz Music Selective Program

Parents are welcome to submit an Application for Enrolment Form for consideration by the Principal (available from Administration), if they reside outside the Local Intake Area. We recommend that an application is also made to the student’s local school since acceptance of the application cannot be guaranteed.
